Two Henderson County men are facing kidnapping and other charges stemming from an early morning incident in the Alzey-Bottoms area. Henderson County
Sheriff’s deputy Stefon Douglas says authorities were notified by the 9-1-1 emergency communications center around 6:30 Tuesday morning of an unclothed man
wrapped in blankets and bound with duct tape who was asking for help. The victim, identified as 22-year old Chase O’Leary of Jasper, Indiana was found lying
in the road on Highway 136 West. O’Leary told deputies what he could recall took place before he woke up in the woods. Based on his statements the Sheriff’s
Department with assistance from Henderson City Police arrested 22-year old Mason Brown of South Green Street and 23-year old Cole Schriber of Henderson County
who were taken into custody without incident at their respective homes. Both are charged with Kidnapping and Wanton Endangerment First Degree. Brown was also charged on two
outstanding failure to appear warrants. Brown and Schriber were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
