Tri-State Spring Fling – Xakhary’s Fight for Sight Fundraising Event Saturday at Union Co. Fairgrounds

An event to help raise funds for a 14 year old boy, who needs prosthetic irises to preserve and regain functional site, will be held Saturday.

Organizer of the Tri-State Spring Fling – Xakhary’s Fight for Sight Event and Eagles President Steve Utley explains his grandson’s need for the surgery.

He says they have received financial help for the expensive surgery from a local and national organization.

Eagles Conductor David Russell says there are events for the entire family.

There will also be a lot of items to be raffled off, and they will have people going around the event to sell the tickets.

Utley adds that there will be a very nice trip that you can win.

Plus, Russell says the Glastones will be performing at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, and there will be lots of food and fun for the entire family.

Utley indicates the Tri-State Spring Fling will become an ongoing yearly event.

The event to help raise funds for Xakhary Abercombie will be held at the Union County Fairgrounds at the Arnold Arena. Again, the gates open at 7:00 a.m. Saturday and vendors will be open at 10:00 a.m.

Tri-State Spring Fling April 16

“Tri-State Spring Fling—Xakhary’s Fight for Sight”–Saturday, April 16 at the Union County Fairgrounds/Arnold Arena to raise funds for a Xakhary Aberrombie, who needs prosthetic irises to preserve and regain functional sight.  This “fun for the entire family” event includes concessions; bounce houses; petting zoo; entertainment by the Glastone Band; and more including:
