Traffic Stop Nets One Pound of Crystal Meth

Gibson County – Last night at approximately 8:30, an Indiana State Police trooper was patrolling I-69 when he stopped a pickup truck driven by 53 year old Clint Meier of Hazleton for making an unsafe lane movement near SR 168.

According to state police, another trooper and his K-9 were nearby and responded to assist. When they arrived, the K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics inside Meier’s vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, police found a large Ziploc bag containing 450 grams of crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of The street value of $20,000.

Meier was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail where he is currently being held on bond for Possession of Methamphetamine over 10 grams, And Dealing in Methamphetamine over 10 grams.
