The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has restricted traffic to one lane on US 41 in norther Webster County for today.
Traffic is restricted to one lane to allow temporary deck repairs on the Groves Creek Bridge at US 41 mile point 11.69. This is along US 41 between Sebree and the Webster-Henderson County Line.
The temporary repair includes placment of a metal plate on the bridge deck. This temporary repair is expected to be in place for about a week or two to allow planning for a more permanent repair.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic at this site through much of the day today. Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Signage indicating a rough road ahead will be placed on each side of the bridge to alert motorists to the temporary repair.
