The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime closures along a section of KY 1508 in UNION County starting TODAY.
KY 1508 will be closed during daylight hours between Lawyer Loop at mile point 3.9 extending to Berry Stevens Road at mile point 6.092 to allow removal of several trees that were damaged during recent storms. This is along KY 1508 between Caseyville and Dekoven.
The roadway at this site will be closed from approximatly 9 a.m., CDT, to about 2:30 p.m., today. The roadway is expected to be closed between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and from about 7 a.m. to about 11 a.m., CDT, on Friday.
There will be no marked detour. The crew will attempt to provide adequate access for propety owners in this area.
KY 1508 is already closed to through traffic at the Caseyville end of this project for replacement of a bridge.
