Two juveniles and a woman were injured in a head-on collision Thursday on KY 136 East.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to the wreck in the 14-thousand block of KY 136 E around 5:20 p.m. Thursday where 17 year old Christian Henshaw of Henderson was driving west when the vehicle crossed the center line and crashed head-on into an eastbound SUV driven by 49 year old Stacey Dixon.

Authorities say Dixon was trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated by the Jaws of Life.

Dixon, Henshaw and his 10 year old passenger, Camden Henshaw, were all transported by ambulance to Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries.

According to the sheriff’s office, KY 136 East was closed for about an hour and a half for investigation of the accident and clean-up of the wreck scene.

The Niagara Fire Department, Henderson City/County Rescue, and Henderson County EMS assisted the deputies at the scene.
