Three Hopkins Co. teens injured in 4-vehicle chain reaction rear-end crash in Henderson

Three Hopkins County teens were injured Friday in a chain-reaction rear-end collision in Henderson.

Henderson Police released the report today (Monday) that shows 20 year old Matthew Gossar of Evansville, IN was driving south on US HWY 41 N when in the 28-hundred block he crashed into stopped traffic. Police say Gossar rear-ended a vehicle driven by 63 year old George Austin of Evansville, IN setting off the four-vehicle chain reaction.

Police indicate 19 year old Larrin Moody of Madisonville, the driver of one of the four vehicle’s involved in the accident, was injured in the wreck along with his two passengers, 15 year old Averi Moody of Madisonville and 14 year old Emily Compton of Hanson. All three subjects were transported by ambulance to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
