Authorities are investigating a crash on the Audubon Parkway Thursday that injured a teenager.

Around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, Kentucky State Police, the Zion and Baskett Fire Departments, and emergency personnel responded to the eastbound Audubon Parkway at the four (4) mile marker for a report of a single vehicle accident with a vehicle on fire and someone trapped inside.

Upon arrival, deputies report the vehicle was not on fire but the driver, 17 year old Kennedy Glassco, was trapped. They say the teenager was extricated from the vehicle and transported by Henderson County EMS to Methodist Hospital in Henderson for treatment of injuries.

According to authorities, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
