A teenager was killed in an apparent late-night shooting in Evansville over the weekend.
Evansville Police officers were dispatched to the area of Washington and Kentucky Avenues just before 11 p.m. Sunday.
Multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunshots in the area and said someone was down on the ground in the 800 block of Madison Avenue.
Officers arrived and found a 17-year-old juvenile who was deceased. Detectives responded and began interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for evidence.
