Some volunteers will be stopping by all homes serviced by the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department in order to conduct a survey.
During the next two weeks, Union County Fiscal Court District 5 Magistrate Joe Clements tells WMSK News the survey will be conducted in the entire area serviced by the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department. He says this survey is important…and your input is important. He indicates the findings of this survey will determine if the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department will qualify for a grant to replace their present deteriorating fire house.
According to Mr. Clements, members of the Waverly Volunteer Fire Department, Waverly City Council and other volunteers will be visiting your homes to gather the all-important information needed for this grant.
