Sturgis man arrested on warrant faces additional charges of possessing meth, promoting contraband

A Sturgis man arrested Tuesday on a warrant faces was also charged for possessing meth and promoting contraband.

Union County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Steinhoff tells WMSK News they executed a warrant on 49 year old Warren Snyder around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday for third degree terroristic threatening and menacing. He indicates Snyder was found outside #18 Wagner Court and was taken into custody without incident.

Upon a search at the Union County Jail, Deputy Steinhoff reports jail personnel found a small baggie containing a white crystallized substance in Snyder’s wallet that field tested positive for meth. Snyder was additionally charged with first degree promoting contraband and first degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
