Southbound inspections have concluded for the day and will resume on Sunday, July 31 from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CT.

“While it was good news that work on the northbound lanes wrapped up early, we apologize for not communicating the schedule change and for any inconveniences caused,” said Department of Highways District 2 Chief District Engineer Deneatra. “We have recalibrated and expect this necessary project to proceed smoothly. With favorable weather conditions, we are optimistic the work will end earlier than planned.”

To minimize traffic impacts during peak commute times, engineers will be on-site in the morning and in the afternoon.

  • 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Crews will utilize a UBIV (Under Bridge Inspection Vehicle). The project is scheduled to be complete by Friday, Aug. 5.
