Sebree man accused of threatening to “shoot up” local business

A Sebree man was arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot up a local business.

Kentucky State Police said they received a complaint Friday that Scott Manufacturing in Sebree had been placed on lockdown due to receiving threats.

Through investigation, Trooper Grant Penrod discovered that 33-year Jordan Ryan Abel of Sebree has been sending death threats to an employee at Scott Manufacturing and also threatened to shoot up the building.

Abel was located in Owensboro and charged with 27 counts of third-degree terroristic threatening. He was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
