Police investigating robbery at convenience store in Henderson

Police in Henderson are investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday at a convenience store.

Henderson Police say a clerk at the Dodge’s Store on South Green Street stated to officers an unknown African American male came into the store around 12:45 a.m. Sunday and purchased a bag of chips. She said when she opened the cash drawer the male reached over the counter and began grabbing cash out of the drawer. The clerk reportedly tried to stop him but was unsuccessful. The man then ran out of the store and has not been located.
