DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. – Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is hosting a rook tournament the weekend of Jan. 8-9, 2016.
The round-robin tournament begins Friday night and runs through Saturday evening. House rules will apply. The registration fee is $25 per team and a new deck of rook cards.
Register at least one week prior to the event to receive a $5 discount. Prizes will be given to the top three teams. Lodging discounts are available.

The rustic wood and stone Pennyrile Lodge, with 24 rooms, sits serenely on a high cliff overlooking Pennyrile Lake. Open year-round, the park has 12 cottages in the wooded lodge area and on the lake’s shores. The restaurant seats 200, including a private dining room for up to 80. The park also offers hiking trails, fishing, basketball, tennis and horse campsites.
The resort is 20 miles northwest of Hopkinsville, on KY 109 North. Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is approximately 8 miles south of Dawson Springs. Take Exit 92 on Interstate 69.
