A pedestrian is recovering from injuries after she was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 2nd and North Ingram Streets in Henderson.

Henderson Police report 50 year old Tonya Rogers of Henderson was driving south in the 200 block of North Ingram Street around 11:45 a.m. Friday and stopped at the intersection with Second Street. Police say Rogers turned left onto Second Street and hit 65 year old Barbara Jarrell of Henderson who was walking across the street. Rogers reportedly did not see Jarrell crossing the street as she made the turn.

Jarrell was transported by ambulance to Methodist Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police indicate Jarrell was cited for no insurance.
