Owensboro man charged with DUI after single-vehicle wreck in Henderson County

An Owensboro man is facing several charges, including DUI, after he reportedly wrecked his vehicle on the Audubon Parkway in Henderson County.

Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene of the single-vehicle wreck around 4:30 Friday afternoon in the area of the 13 mile marker of the Audubon Parkway. According to the report, an investigation revealed 39 year old Coleman Adams was driving a vehicle and swerved off the roadway and then crossed back over both lanes and hit a guardrail. Authorities reportedly determined Adams was under the influence of prescription medication at the time of the wreck.

Adams was transported to Methodist Hospital in Henderson where he was treated for minor injuries. He was then arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for DUI, no registration plant, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card and license to be in possession.
