A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close ramps in the US 60/US 231 Interchange at OWENSBORO during overnight hours on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.
Various ramps at the US 60 Exit 16 Interchange with US 231 at Owensboro will be closed intermittently on Wednesday night into Thursday morning Nov 16 & 17 to allow a contractor to patch potholes and repair concrete along the ramps. Ramps around the interchange will be closed at various times through the night starting at 8 p.m., CST, Wednesday, continuing until 6 a.m., Thursday. Generally, only one ramp will be closed at a time.
There will no marked detour for these short term closures. However, motorists traveling US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway may self-detour by continuing along US 60 to the US 431 Exit 14 Interchange or the KY 54 Exit 18 Interchange, looping through, and returning to Exit 16 from the opposite direction.
