One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Henderson County over the weekend.
Kentucky State Police reports Brandy Shelton was driving a vehicle northbound on KY 145 about four miles south of Corydon on Sunday when the car left the roadway for unknown reasons, hit an earth embankment, overturned and then came to rest on its tires.
According to police, Shelton was removed from the car by the Corydon Fire Department and Henderson Rescue Squad. Police say she was transported by ambulance to Henderson Methodist Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released.
Kentucky State Police was assisted on the scene by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department.
