Evansville Police Department said one person is dead following an early morning shooting on Wednesday.
Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Marshall Avenue in Evansville at just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in reference to shots fired in the area. Multiple 911 callers reported hearing shots in the area.
Officers arrived and found three people who had been shot. All three were transported to area hospitals, however one victim did not survive their injuries.
