A 39 year old Nortonville woman died this (Thursday) morning after a single vehicle wreck on I-69 in Hopkins County.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the wreck at the 114 mile marker around 8:00 a.m. Thursday where witnesses stated a SUV traveling southbound in the left lane exited the road into the median. They say the driver, 39 year old Denise C. Currier, was ejected from the SUV when it started to roll on its side into the opposite lanes.
While en route to an Evansville hospital, authorities say Currier’s condition worsened and the ambulance diverted to Methodist Hospital in Henderson where she died from her injuries.
