A Morganfield woman was injured in a five vehicle wreck on US 60 West in Henderson County around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies along with emergency personnel responded to the scene of the wreck and found that Zalana Hughes of Morganfield was injured in the accident.
She was transported to Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries. Authorities indicate no one else was injured in the five vehicle wreck, which is still being investigated by the sheriff’s office.
The Smith Mills Fire Department, Corydon Civil Defense, Henderson EMS, and Henderson County/City Rescue assisted the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of the wreck.
