Motorists traveling KY 670 near Providence in Webster County need to be aware a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to start milling and paving the road beginning Wednesday.
According to spokesman Keith Todd, the work schedule calls for milling on Wednesday, followed by paving to begin on Thursday along KY 670/Providence-Clay Road from KY 109 extending eastward nearly three (3) miles to US41A.
Motorists need to use caution and should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this over 430-thousand dollar highway improvement project. Todd indicates work is expected to take about a week, weather permitting.
