Work is expected to last 2 weeks, weather permitting
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 22, 2023) – A contractor plans to begin milling and paving operations on Kentucky 120, Kentucky 147 and Kentucky 2838 in Webster County on Monday.
The roads being paved are:
Kentucky 120: From Bull Creek Bridge extending to Red Rock School Road , a distance of 02.71 miles of asphalt resurfacing
KY 147: From U.S. 41 extending to Branson Road, a distance of 01.67 miles of asphalt resurfacing
KY 2838: From KY 270 extending to Henry Mitchell Road, distance of 1 mile of asphalt resurfacing
The contractor will mill and complete a base failure on Kentucky 120 later in the week.
Motorists should drive with caution and be prepared for stop conditions. Flaggers will be present for traffic control. The contractor will rock shoulders once the routes have been resurfaced.
The duration of this work is expected to last two weeks.
