Local Emergency Crews Work US 60 W Bypass 2-Vehicle Wreck with Injuries

At least two people were transported to the hospital this morning after a two-vehicle wreck at the US 60 W Bypass.

Not all the details have been released, but Morganfield Rescue Squad Chief Rick Wyatt tells WMSK News the Morganfield Fire/Rescue, Meadows Fire and Union County Volunteer Fire Depts., and two (2) EMS responded to the accident scene of the two-vehicle accident around 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

Chief Wyatt says the wreck patients were treated on the scene by fire/rescue personnel and then transported by EMS to the hospital.

In addition, the Union County Sheriff’s Office and Morganfield Police Dept. responded to the scene and are working the accident.
