The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict SOUTHBOUND traffic to one lane on US 41 near the Kentucky-Indiana State Line on Friday, June 16, 2017.
This daytime work zone lane restriction for southbound traffic is to allow electrical work on the Kentucky Weigh Station’s open and close sign along the southbound lanes of US 41 near Cheatam Slough Bridge. This is along US 41 southbound between Water Works Road and the Kentucky Weigh Station.
All southbound traffic on US 41 will move to the left-hand or passing lane just north of the Water Works Road Intersection extending southward to the Kentucky Weigh Station entrance ramp.
This southbound work zone near US 41 Kentucky milepoint 20.7 at the Cheatam Slough Bridge is expected to be in place from approximately 9 a.m., CDT, to about 2:30 p.m., on Friday.
Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
