Motorists traveling KY 138 East of Dixon in Webster County need to aware a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor plans to close a section of the road beginning Wednesday.
Spokesman Keith Todd says KY 138 will be closed just east of the KY 132 intersection between KY 132 and Vandersburg-Winstead Road to allow a cross drain to be replaced.
The road will close around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and is expected to reopen by 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Todd, there will be no marked detour. Motorists who regularly travel this section of KY 138 between Dixon and Slaughters in Webster County will need to make alternate travel plans.
