MADISONVILLE, Ky. (April 08, 2024) – As motorists finalize their plans for viewing the 2024 Eclipse later today, Mother Nature has thrown a curveball as KY 3522, also known as the Kentucky Exit of Ellis Park, is closed due to flood water from the Ohio River.

KY 3522 is often used by drivers who find themselves crossing the Twin Bridges northbound with plans to turn around to come back to Henderson, as it allows them to safely cross US 41 without dealing with oncoming traffic. It is also frequently used for Ellis Park customers needed to head south across the bridge into Henderson. With the roadway flooded, motorists will need to find another place to turnaround to head back to the Kentucky side of the river.
