Kentucky State Police are searching for two inmates who escaped from Keaton Correctional Institution in Paducah.
Around 4:00 this (Wednesday) morning, the staff of Keaton Correctional Institution contacted KSP Post 1 in Mayfield after conducting a head count search and discovered an inmate, 33 year old Everett Tabor of Marion, Kentucky, missing. Tabor is described as a white male, 6’1” with short brown hair and brown eyes.
In addition, 21 year old Chancelor Britt of Byrdstown, Tennessee, a parolee staying at the Keaton Correctional Facility, also went missing, according to KSP. Britt is described as a white male, 5’11”, 143 pounds, blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.
Authorities say it is unknown what both men were wearing when they left the facility.
Tabor was serving time for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Britt is on parole for a Wanton Endangerment Conviction.
