UPDATE: 2 escapees from the Webster Co. Detention Center CAPTURED in Providence

UPDATE FROM KSP:

Providence, KY (Webster County) – The two inmates that escaped from the Webster County Detention Center have been captured. Officers with the Providence Police Department located the two escapees at the Westview Apartments on Centeridge Drive at approximately 9:26 a.m. Both escapees were arrested without incident.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from the Webster County Detention Center Monday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that 20 year old Patrick Jermaine McGuire and 24 year old Jerrino Don Johnson walked away from the jail around 9:15 Monday night.

KSP describes McGuire as a black male, approximately 5’7”, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a gray jacket.

Johnson is described as a black male, approximately 5’11”, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. KSP says he was last seen wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.

Kentucky State Police requests that you should not approach these offenders if they are found. KSP says the public should call 9-1-1 or 1-800-222-555 if you know the whereabouts of these two men, or have any information concerning their escape.

According to state police, more information will be made available as it becomes known.
