Hanson KY (Hopkins County) – On November 26, 2019 at approximately 4:57 PM, Trooper Jacob Stephens, of Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville, initiated a traffic stop on a 2011 Nissan Altima after receiving a tip that the operator had arrest warrants.
Trooper Stephens came in contact with the operator, identified as Chad Foster, 34, and his passenger Kayla Noel, 32, both of Madisonville, KY. Further investigation revealed both occupants had warrants issued for their arrest, and the vehicle they were occupying had been reported stolen from Henderson, KY.
Chad Foster was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center where he was charged with the following:
- Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000
- Improper Display of Registration Plates
- No Registration Receipt
- Failure to Produce Insurance Card
- Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation
Kayla Noel was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center where she was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000. Both Foster and Noel were also served unrelated arrest warrants.
