KSP: Providence Woman Charged With Drug Offenses and DUI

Clay, KY (Webster County) – The Kentucky State Police has charged a Providence woman with drug-related and DUI charges.

Around 9:00 Friday night, KSP reports a trooper observed 39 year old Beverly Harris, of Providence, driving a Dodge pickup truck in a careless manner. After pulling the vehicle over, the trooper determined that Harris was under the influence of a controlled substance.

During a search of the truck, police reportedly found a plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.

Harris was taken into custody and
