KSP: Human Remains Discovered in Henderson County

Human remains have been found in Henderson County.

Kentucky State Police Public Information Office Corey King says troopers were notified by a passing fisherman around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday that he found possible human remains on Diamond Island in the Ohio River near Geneva. According to police, detectives and trooper arrived on the scene and confirmed the skeletal remains are human.

KSP and the Henderson County Coroner’s Office have not yet determined the person’s identity, gender, or cause of death; however they do believe the body has been there longer than three years.
