Gracey (Christian County) –A Hopkinsville woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Monday on Gracey-Herndon Road.
According to Kentucky State Police, the preliminary investigation revealed the wreck occurred around 2:00 p.m. when 24 year old Taylor Alexander was driving a 2016 Nissan Versa eastbound on a gravel road approaching Gracey-Herndon Road when she braked and the vehicle slid across both lanes of Gracey-Herndon Road and crashed a ditch/earthen embankment.
Police say Alexander, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported via ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
Trooper First Class Jim McArthur is investigating the collision. Christian County EMS assisted at the scene.
