A traffic stop in Webster County netted the arrest of a Mortons Gap man for DUI and drug offenses.
Kentucky State Police Post 2 reports a trooper conducted a traffic stop on KY 109 in Clay around 1:30 Monday morning on a pickup truck driven by 25 year old Tyler K. Fox.
During the course of the traffic stop, police say the trooper determined that Fox was under the influence of a controlled substance. During a search of the truck, state police indicate the trooper found a case containing a plastic bag with suspected crystal meth in it, as well as three syringes.
Fox was taken into custody and lodged in the Webster County Detention Center for DUI, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and police executed three bench warrants.
