Kentucky State Police responded to Walker Street Thursday to execute an arrest warrant for 33 year old Craig Mason of Hartford.
While at the residence, state police say Trooper Adam Wright noticed Mason was attempting to hide a small bag. They say Trooper Wright retrieved the bag of what appears to methamphetamine and several items used to ingest the drug. Mason was also reportedly in possession of a concealed weapon.
Mason was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on the warrants along with Possession of Control Substance, Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and six counts Drug Paraphernalia. Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by the Hartford Police Department.
