Providence, KY (Webster County) – The Kentucky State Police is currently investigating the death of a Providence couple.
On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at approximately 11:16 PM, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by the Webster County Sheriff’s Department in reference to a shooting at a residence on Lutontown Lisman Road.
When they arrived to the residence, KSP Detectives discovered Dana Ensing, 41, and her husband, Kyle Ensing, 42, deceased in their home.
Preliminary investigation revealed each victim appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds. Presently, it appears Kyle Ensing shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. Dana and Kyle Ensing were both pronounced deceased at the scene by the Webster County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
