KSP: Bowling Green Woman Injured in Single Vehicle Injury Collision on US 79 in Todd County

KSP POST 2 NEWS RELEASE

Guthrie, KY (Todd County) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a single-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred on US 79, approximately two miles north of Guthrie, on Saturday, January 30, at 8:23 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Tania E. Keen, 42, Bowling Green, KY, was operating a 2012 Kia Sorento southbound on US 79 when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle crossed the northbound lane and exited the left shoulder of the roadway. It struck a drainage ditch and a tree before coming to rest on the driver’s side, off the roadway.

The Guthrie Fire Department had to extricate Ms. Keen from her vehicle. She was transported by Todd County EMS to a landing zone in Guthrie. She was then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN for treatment. Ms. Keen was wearing a seatbelt.

Trooper Curtis Crick is investigating the collision. The Todd County Sheriff’s Department, the Guthrie Fire Department and Todd County EMS assisted at the scene.
