KSP: 10 year old hit by vehicle in Ohio Co.

KSP NEWS RELEASE

Centertown, KY. (September 28, 2016) – Just after 4:30 PM, Kentucky State Police responded to a single vehicle collision on State Route 85 West, just outside the community of Centertown, KY.

When troopers arrived on scene, they discovered that a 10 year old male juvenile had been struck by a car while attempting to cross the roadway. A 2012 Ford Econoline van being operated by 44 year old, Bradford Luppino of Centertown was traveling east on State Route 85. When Luppino came upon the child in the driveway, the child ran into the travel path of Luppino’s van.

The child was transported by a PHI Air Ambulance to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. Mr. Luppino, nor his passengers were injured during the collision.

The Kentucky State Police was assisted by Ohio County EMS, and the Centertown Volunteer Fire Department.
