Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Christian County

OAK GROVE, KY. (October 13, 2025) – A Clarksville man was killed following a fatal two-vehicle collision in Christian County on Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 2:56 p.m. Sunday, Christian County Dispatch contacted Kentucky State Police Post 2 requesting assistance with a collision at the intersection of Kentucky 117 and US-41 in Oak Grove.

A preliminary investigation indicates Daryll Hook, 53, of Hopkinsville was driving a pickup truck when he disregarded a traffic control device. His truck struck a sedan driven by Deborah Stanford, 26, of Clarksville, Tennessee.

In the passenger seat of Stanford’s sedan was Tony Kilsby, 55, of Clarksville. Kilsby was airlifted to a nearby hospital and later succumbed to injuries from the collision.

All other parties received medical attention but did not suffer any serious physical injuries.

The family has been notified by Tennova Healthcare. At this time, no criminal charges have been filed.

The investigation is ongoing and is led by Detective Brian Graves of the Kentucky State Police.
