Kentucky State Police Hiring Facilities Security Officers, Salary Starts at $42,860

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 11, 2024) – Kentucky State Police is looking to hire facilities security officers, with a starting salary of $42,860.

Interested applicants can apply for this position until July 10, as individuals hired as facilities security officers will undergo a two-week training academy slated to begin October 2024.

The Kentucky State Police Security Branch provides protection to state office buildings in Frankfort, ensuring that state employees and visitors have a safe and secure place to work and visit. Interested applicants should visit the Kentucky State Police to download the application.

Alison Ramsey, security branch commander. “Any Kentuckian seeking to do their part in creating a better, safer Kentucky is encouraged to apply to become a Facilities Security Officer.”
