Jailed Henderson Man Facing Additional Drug Charges

A Henderson man already behind bars is facing additional charges.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force detectives served drug trafficking warrants on 35 year old Sedrick C. Hancock of 1556-A Fair Ground Lane.

Authorities say Hancock was involved in selling over a pound of synthetic marijuana known as K-2 to undercover officers during an undercover operation over the course of several weeks.

Hancock was recently arrested by Henderson Police after an officer observed him driving on the wrong side of the road. He was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for his second DUI, his second driving on a suspended license – aggravated, possession of marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs and other offenses.

According to authorities, the additional charges lodged against Hancock include two counts of trafficking synthetic drugs (K-2), and trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Hancock remains lodged in the Henderson County Jail under a 75-hundred dollar cash bond.
