A saturation patrol targeting illegal drug activity in Posey County, Indiana Thursday night netted the arrest of two Mt. Vernon residents.
Indiana State Police and the Posey County Sheriff’s Department conducted the saturation patrol between 8:00 and 11:00 Thursday night near Southwind Apartments in Mt. Vernon
According to Indiana State Police, 54 year old Cathy Willis of Mt. Vernon was taken into custody for possessing meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Posey County Jail where she is being held on bond.
Authorities say 30 year old Patrick Harrison of Mt. Vernon was cited and released for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
During the three-hour period, authorities also indicate eight warnings and two traffic tickets were issued.
