A Saline County, Illinois woman was charged Sunday night after a state trooper found marijuana and syringes in her vehicle.
Indiana State Police reports a trooper was patrolling SR 65 near Owensville, IN when he spotted a vehicle parked off Base Road west of SR 65 around 11:30 Sunday night. As the trooper approached the vehicle driven by 23 year old Jessica Ford of Harrisburg Illinois, he reportedly smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, police say the trooper found an eyeglass case containing three unused syringes and one spoon containing an unknown white residue, along with a small amount of marijuana.
Ford was taken into custody and lodged in the Gibson County Jail for possession of syringes, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and possession of paraphernalia.
