HPD: Two Henderson residents charged for trafficking meth

Two Henderson residents were arrested Thursday for trafficking methamphetamine.

Henderson Police report 31 year old Kristin Langston and 36 year old Jeremy Woods were both arrested by separate officers around 3:40 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of South Green Street.

According to police, Langston was taken into custody after she purchased over two grams of meth during controlled drug buys on multiple days in 2015. She was charged with two counts of first degree trafficking in controlled substance – greater or equal to two grams of methamphetamine, and two counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second or greater offense greater or equal to two grams of meth.

Police indicate Woods was taken into custody on warrants for three counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance over two grams of methamphetamine, first degree trafficking in a controlled substance under two grams of meth, and being a persistent felony offender.  Authorities indicate the warrants were issued in conjunction with a drug roundup in Henderson on April 7th.

Both subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
