A Henderson man is behind bars after he was arrested on a bench warrant Thursday afternoon for contempt of court.
21 year old Tony Magwood was arrested by Henderson Police around 4:50 Thursday afternoon at a residence on 9th Street. He was also served two warrants for first degree promoting contraband and first degree possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified. According to police, the warrants were based on a complaint from the Henderson County Detention Center.
Magwood was transported to the Henderson County Jail.
