A Hopkins County teen was airlifted to a hospital after a vehicle he was riding in flipped multiple times.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office responded to the wreck on Hubert Reid Road around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon where authorities say a male juvenile was speeding on the gravel portion of the road when he lost control, causing the vehicle to flip over several times.
Authorities indicate the driver’s passenger, 18 year old Dustin Offutt, sustained head injuries and was transported by helicopter to an emergency facility.
The Earlington Volunteer Fire and Medical Center assisted the sheriff’s office on the scene of the accident.
