Henderson man facing 15 charges

A Henderson man police say was caught peeking in the window of someone’s home is facing fifteen charges following his arrest.

According to Henderson Police, officers were called to a residence on Powell Street around 12:25 Tuesday morning in reference to a man who had been looking into the windows and was standing in the yard. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 40 year old Louis Dean Stokes found hiding in a neighbor’s yard and he gave officers the name and information of a man living in Marion, Kentucky. However, Marion Police reportedly went to the man’s home and spoke with him.

Stokes was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for second degree fleeing/evading police on foot, third degree criminal trespassing and giving a police officer a false name or address.

In addition, police report Stokes was served warrants from several other agencies for parole violation, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property under $10,000 and several other offenses.
