Henderson man charged with trafficking drugs

A Henderson man police say was caught trespassing was arrested and charged with trafficking drugs and other offenses.

Henderson Police reports an officer made contact with 43 year old Donald Axton after being told that he was trespassing in an abandoned trailer. They say Axton had several visible knives on him, along with a digital scale in his pants pocket. During a pat down, police reportedly found more weapons and a pair of brass knuckles, a bag containing 60 pills, and a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Axton was taken into custody and booked into the Henderson County Detention Center for second degree trafficking in a controlled substance (greater or equal to 10 dosage units of Schedule I & 2 non-narcotics), possession of a controlled substance – meth, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
