A Henderson man was arrested over the weekend and charged for assault and intimidating a participant in a legal process.
Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Henderson Police report officers responded to an assault at a residence. Upon arrival, the report says a female told officers that 47 year old Robert Sneed choked her during an argument and hit her in the head with a broom.
According to police, the victim refused to testify in Sneed’s favor at an upcoming court hearing which led to the assault.
Sneed was taken into custody and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
